The following is a guideline for the requirements of the WPGA for membership of the Association:
  1. Females over the age of 18 years.
  2. Members of other recognized Professional Golf Associations.
  3. Amateur golfers who have:
A three handicap or less

Two letters of recommendation from recognized golf Professionals or golfing bodies

A total of 8 points accumulated as follows:

  • 5 points for winning a National stroke-play event
  • 3 points for runner-up of a National stroke-play event
  • 1 point for third place of a National stroke-play event #
  • 5 points for South African or other National colours #
